September 2016 Prayer Calendar !!

				1) Praise the Lord for the 300 youth who came together from across the island to learn who Jesus is at our Cristo Urbano retreat last month	2) Thank God for all of our teams that came to serve with us this summer and help continue the ministry that He is doing in the Dominican	3) Give thanks to the Lord for our summer interns faithfully, diligently and joyfully serving with Christ-like attitudes
4) Please pray for Raphael Torres and his family as his mom unexpectedly passed away	5) Pray for the missionary kids as they have just started back to school, that they can be a light to their fellow classmates	6) Thank God for the supporters who provide a Christian education, books and school supplies to all of our GO Kids	7) Pray for our returning and new seminary students and praise God that this is the beginning of our 5th year	8) Give thanks to God for the strength and endurance that He gave the many facilitators this summer	9) Thank the Lord for our staff who put in very long days as they serve alongside and guide our teams in various communities	10) Pray that we can learn to balance work, family time and rest and praise God that Troy is continuing to adjust so well
11) A boy who has been eating at one of our nutrition centers drowned. Please pray for his family and Preacher Gregorio Thomas	12) Pray for our 13th annual Louisville golf scramble today to be a great time of sharing GO stories and all that God is doing on the island	13) Pray that all of the team members would remember the things they learned and experienced on their mission trip	14) Pray for the baseball academy players that went on a mission trip that it would have a lasting impact on their hearts and lives	15) Pray for Adrienne, our newest staff member, as she adjusts to life in the Dominican and helps coordinate teams	16) Pray for our youth group to have a great day celebrating all that the Lord provided at our Cristo Urbano camp this year	17) Pray for God to be glorified at our annual women’s conference this weekend and for safety for all who are traveling
18) Pray for our leaders and their families as they preach the gospel and reach the lost	19) Pray for our 14th annual Chicago golf scramble today to raise funds to continue making a huge impact around the world	20) Pray for boldness, courage and perseverance for our seminary graduates as they establish churches	21) Pray for our staff retreat this week to bring us closer to the Lord and each other as we worship and fellowship together	22) Pray that we would continue to build community and grow in our roles in the ministry	23) Pray for the Dominican Christians to remain strong when they face opposition and persecution	24) Pray that God will raise up the churches that we plant to be strong and healthy and an outreach to different communities
25) Pray that God would raise up more partnering churches and individuals to pray, send and go	26) Pray against Satan’s attacks for all of our missionary families and that we can continue fighting strong for the Kingdom	27) Pray that Troy will continue to grow healthy and strong and that God will give us strength and wisdom	28) Pray for our small groups as we are starting back up after summer break with a few new leaders	29) Thank the Lord for Elido developing a two-year program for those who do not have time to commit to the full seminary	30) Pray for the teams that are raising funds and preparing to come, that their hearts will be open to what God has in store
