God's Power !!
I have felt weak as I have tried to communicate in a different language and in a different cultural context. It is through times like these that I understand and see God’s power at work, despite my mistakes and weaknesses.
I have seen children who smelled horrible, begging for stuff so they could live. It is definitely humbling. The Dominicans have touched me in a way I didn’t think was possible. God sent me to serve others and to change myself.

New Hope For Girls !!
Pray for these little girls at the New Hope for Girls home. One of them her grandfather tried to rape her, another one's mother died of AIDS, another one's mom is a prostitute and was taking her to be involved in prostitution as well and one young daughter was starved and had to do sexual favors to her step-father for food. They live such sad stories that I can't even imagine but I know that God can redeem, renew and restore them!
