1 Praise God for the time
of fellowship and teaching at the 10th annual women’s conference
that took place last month

2 Give thanks to the Lord
for Bob Rea who came to teach the seminary students on church history

3 Thank the Lord for our
time together at the annual staff retreat to grow closer together and to
Christ as we press on in ministry

4 Give thanks to God for
the ministry focus that He has put on our hearts for 2016, to prepare to lead
our teams into a deeper walk with Him
|
5 Pray for the team from
Northeast as they empower their partners Rafolito and Kennedy through a
dental clinic in Los Guandules
|
6 Pray for Spring Valley’s
first trip with GO and that they will catch the vision of partnership while
they are serving here in the field
|
7 Pray for the group from
First Capital as they continue construction on the church in Batey Cuchilla
to encourage and uplift Francisco
|
8 Pray for the connections
that our president, Brook, will make at the Exponential West conference to
further church planting in the Dominican
|
9 Thank the Lord for the
new partnerships that continue to be developed through the work that is
happening in the Dominican Republic and Haiti
|
10 Pray for The Refinery
team as they minister on the northern coast in several of our remote areas
through children’s ministry
|
11 Praise the Lord for all
of the hard work of our staff and teachers at our school to be able to share
information with the GO Kid sponsors
|
12 Pray for our medical
team as they review the plans for the interior walls at the new medical
center so that the patients will receive quality treatment
|
13 Pray for our youth group
and sports academy kids as they continue to connect and encourage each other
for Christ
|
14 Please continue to pray
for the end of the drought in the Dominican Republic and in the Caribbean
that has gotten worse since 2010
|
15 Thank God for the CPC
group who will come alongside local leaders through outreach in their
communities
|
16 Give thanks to the Lord
for all of the teams that have already set their dates to come and serve in
2016
|
17 Pray for our friends and
supporters that our coming to visit us today that they will have safe travels
and that our time together will be a blessing
|
18 Continue to pray for all
of the future staff as they make final preparations to move to the field at
the beginning of January
|
19 Pray for all of the
patients who will be seen by the Northern Indiana medical team through their
clinics this week
|
20 Pray for the Crestwood
group as they share the Gospel and love on and pamper the ladies in La Mosca
|
21 Thank God for the many
lives that are being touched and transformed through all of our partnering
churches
|
22 Pray for our sports
academy coaches as they grow deeper in the Word through their weekly Bible
study
|
23 Continue to pray that
Isaias’ visa will arrive by Christmas and for us to be patient and trust in
God’s perfect timing
|
24 Pray for the development
of kingdom businesses as they continue to grow and support the work of the
ministry
|
25 Please pray for our
Haitian preachers to receive their visas so that they are able to attend the
local leader retreat in the DR in November
|
26 Pray for our local
leaders as they gather for community and training at their monthly meeting this
evening
|
27 Thank the Lord for His
constant provision and protection for our local leaders and staff as our
ministry continues to grow
|
28 Pray for the Leadership
Development Complex as construction progresses through the Canyon Ridge
crew
|
29 Pray that the vision and
mission of GO can be shared with all that are attending the missionary
convention this weekend
|
30 Praise God that GO
Ministries is meeting needs in different communities through medical, dental
and eye clinics this month
|
31 Pray for the staff in
our home office in Louisville as they work behind the scenes and diligently
support the ministry happening on the island of Hispaniola
|
