8) Pray for healing
for Jean Marie, the wife of one of our Haitian preachers, who is having
stomach problems

9) Praise the Lord for the partnership of the Bible study, from
Georgia, who partners with Felix from our construction team
|
10) Pray for the nursing students, from Bellarmine University, as
they perform medical assessments for the kids in 3 of our nutrition centers
|
11) Thank God for the
team from Centenary who is helping with construction and leading a basketball
camp in Cambranal
|
12) Pray for the group from Glen Ellyn as they work on the LDC and
spend time with their partner Nico in Los Perez
|
13) Pray for the team
from Windsor Road as they travel to 2 of our more remote churches to share
the Gospel with the kids in those communities
|
14) Pray for Eduard
to have wisdom as he preaches in the Central
Church and leads the Dominicans in our ministry
|
15) Praise God that
our medical clinic is now able to see patients all day 5 days a week, due to
the increased need in the community
|
16) Give thanks to
the Lord for the crew from Fortville as they continue to support and
encourage Preacher Gregorio

17) Pray for the youth group from Glen Ellyn, who is giving up
time in their summer, to come and serve in the Dominican Republic
|
18) Praise God for
the families from St. Luke’s and their partnership with our sports ministry
and Leadership Development Complex

19) Thank the Lord
for the encouragement that the team from Parkway will bring to Preacher
Gumercindo

20) Praise God for
the continued spiritual growth that is happening through our weekly Bible
study

21) Thank God for
the vision of Ramon Gabriel and Brook Brotzman and continue to pray for God’s
provision

logistics team, as they prepare for the summer to ensure that the staff is
fully equipped

continued strength and endurance as the Cristo Urbano group reaches the lost
through Christian music

2) Thank the Lord
for all of the groups that came this spring to encourage and love on our
staff and local leaders
|

the many teams that faithfully come to serve alongside the local leaders year
after year

4) Give thanks to the
Lord for the six new partnerships that were formed through our teams this
spring

5) Pray for our local
leaders who have been put in positions of leadership over other Dominican
partners; that they will seek God as they mentor others
|
6) Praise the Lord for
the opportunity for us to move into a larger and safer apartment and that the
transition will go smoothly
|
7) Pray for all of
the seminary students, as they wrap up their classes for the semester and
take their final exams
|
8) Thank God for the
official inauguration event at the Leadership Development Complex and the
positive news coverage to share the vision of GO in the DR
|
9) Pray for the
several players in the sports academy that were baptized recently and that
they will continue to grow and be discipled
|
10) Pray for an
exciting opportunity opened to some of the baseball academy players to come
and visit the US, that God would open doors and make a way
|
11) Praise the Lord
that 827 patients were able to be seen
in a 2-day remote medical clinic in Los Salados this spring
|
12) Give thanks to
God for the partnership between GO and the local hospital, that one of our US
partners could share her knowledge and training with the staff
|
13) Praise God for the
work our teams did this last month at the Leadership Development Complex,
including digging a cistern and getting the batting cages ready
|
14) Thank the Lord
for the Elkton team that carried rebar to the third level of the medical
center, so that future teams can
prepare for the construction of the floor
|
15) Pray for the
marriage retreat this weekend, for the local leaders and staff, that all the
couples will grow closer to each other and God
|
16) Pray for the Word
of God to dwell in the hearts of all the kids in our nutrition centers and thank
the Lord for all the teams that shared the Gospel to them through Vacation
Bible School
|
17) Pray for the
immigration process for Isaias to go smoothly and that he will receive his
green card in time for us to go to the states in the fall
|
18) Pray for
Marisol, our head cook, that her leg would heal and her strength would return
in time for our summer teams |
19) Please pray for
encouragement and faith for all of our staff as they raise their own support,
knowing that God will always provide for their needs
|
20) Pray for the
ministry overall, as it continues to grow, that we will stand firm against
the enemy’s attacks and always keep our focus on Christ
|
21) Pray for the raising
up of leaders within all of our churches to help lead the many children’s ministry
events that will take place this summer

22) Pray for Isaias
today, as he celebrates his birthday, that God will continue to grow him in
the Word and faith

Generoso in your prayers as he recovers from a badly broken leg and for his
spirits to remain high

the students in the GO Kids school and for the many supporters who will come
down to visit the children that they sponsor

us to be an example to our youth group and show them what a God-honoring
marriage looks like

God to send the right people to join staff and fill the positions that are

will have a safe and smooth flight, as she travels to Virginia today to spend
time with family and friends

Lenae’s sister, as she graduates from high school today and prepares to
attend college at Lipscomb

Lenae’s father, as he trains Dominican preachers at a Christian camp in
Salcedo

4) Praise God that Doctor Arturo and Jessica have moved to the Dominican
to begin their full-time service with GO

8) Pray for the Centurions team, who are working with young kids in the
Hole and teaching them the love of Jesus through basketball

for our local leader, Generoso, as his leg heals from a motorcycle accident
and praise God that he has been able to return to church

for their first time, continuing the work on the medical center

that the first children’s ministry event took place in the new church

the Beechland church and Generoso’s family, as they come to encourage them
during this difficult time

Leadership Development Complex to build a cistern this week

Urbano, for safe travels and for God to open many doors as we are sharing the
Gospel through music in Colombia this week

Generoso, one of our construction workers, as he heals from a motorcycle
accident

3) Pray for the four
orphans in Cerca Caravajal, Haiti who lost their parents and other sibling
when a car crashed into their home
|
4) Pray for our
seminary this spring, as we now have 3 groups of students meeting each week
|
5) Pray for the
tournament between six different churches in our sports academy starting this
week

6) Pray for our new
spring community group for the staff, that starts tonight
|
7) Pray for William
and Heidi, our two new interns who arrive today to serve with GO this spring

for technology and the ability to have four video conference courses in our

is improving the roadways and electricity infrastructure

nutrition centers this month, as they begin their yearly registration of kids

13) Thank God for answered prayer that our medical director and his wife
are able to move to the field next month

marriages of all of our staff and local leaders, that their relationships
will be centered in Christ

for the new baseball coach, Emmanuel, and pray for him as he begins his full
time service with the players and other coaches

16) Pray for the
group from Great Lakes Christian College as they deepen their relationships
with our youth group

17) Praise God for
the ultrasound machine that was donated to our medical clinic

18) Pray for our teams coming this year, as
they continue to recruit and fundraise

for the partnership with the nursing program at Bellarmine University, who
has created a nursing assessment process for developing countries

construction team, as they work on projects to get things ready for our many
